and Attic24 gradually became known as a go-to place for easy crochet patterns featuring picture heavy step-by-step tutorials written in plain English.
Eight years on, and Attic24 continues to offer an appealing mix of personal lifestyle, crochet patterns, and creative inspiration, with more than a million followers calling in to share Lucy’s colourful, cheerful chatter every month. Her Attic24 Facebook page has also gathered a loyal following with more than 400k fans.
She writes and designs for magazines such as Simply Crochet and Mollie Makes and teaches crochet workshops from her small studio above a local café. During the past two years her crochet designs have been made into a range of colourful kits which have become popular all over the world. Lucy is also one of the organisers of Yarndale, a creative yarn festival held every September in her home town of Skipton on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
