We’ve all been crafting a lot more since lockdown started in March.  We have worked our way through our WIPs, started new projects for ourselves, friends, even the family dog, but what about the kids in your life?

We thought we would give you a quick round up of some of our favourite patterns for children from recent collections.  All the featured yarns are machine washable and can be tumbled dried on a cool setting.

Bambino is a lovely, multi-ended yarn that gives a fantastic stitch definition and is currently available in 14 shades. It is a versatile yarn, perfect for kids and babies.

Nothing could be cuter than this dinosaur jacket in Bambino from pattern 9758.  How about making the dinosaur scales in a different colour to the garment?

We launched Bambino Prints earlier in the year in a range of 4 shades.  This cardigan and jumper (pattern 9745) have either a cute heart or star motif in Bambino to add interest.

Mother and daughter designs have become a real thing for the mini-me in your life.  Using new shades in Special DK, pattern 9766 rocks the trend perfectly.

Bellissima DK is a sister yarn to Bambino and last autumn winter we created a collection of knits for girls.  Our top pick is this gorgeous cabled jumper with a hood (pattern 9708)

And finally, also from last year, we are upping the cuteness factor with this gorgeous cardi in Special DK for Babies (pattern 9681), which you could also knit in Special DK, giving you more than 90 shades to choose from!

We hope our selection of patterns for kids has inspired you and we’d love to see your mini knits so please do post them on our Facebook page.
