How are you getting on with your knitting?  Do you need some help?
Is there a technique you have always wanted to learn?

Our YouTube channel is packed full of tips and tutorials to take your knitting to the next level.

A nice stretchy cast on if you are knitting socks, or for the rib of garments, is the long tail cast on. It’s easy to master with a bit of practise.

How about some fool proof Fair Isle? This video shows you how to keep your yarns untwisted, whether you knit the English way or use two hands.

For top-down jumpers or shaped shawls you will often find instructions for short row shaping.  Perhaps the most popular method of doing this is the ‘wrap and turn’ and we show you how here.

If you are making top-down socks, the Kitchener stitch is a technique you really need.  It is also called grafting and is a way of invisibly joining stitches for a very neat finish.

Our favourite way to sew up garment pieces that works just as well on knitting or crochet.  Do you have finished projects languishing in a basket because you hate sewing them up?  Mattress stitch will change your life!  You may even find yourself offering to sew projects up for friends.

We hope you will find the time to explore all of our techniques on our YouTube channel.
