At Stylecraft HQ we are all keen crafters and going through the latest collections to decide to which one we want to make is one of the biggest temptations we face.  Well, that and all the lovely new yarns, of course. So here are our favourites from Spring Summer.

Looks like Dawn, who works in customer service in our sales office, will be knitting this  for her son. “My favourite pattern is the little boy’s jumper. I love the Bambino yarn and the particular shades used in the image for this pattern make it look smart and modern with the mellow yellow shade and button details. I could definitely see Ralph in this cute jumper at a family meal or occasion.”9616 main CJ175_A_019.jpg

Anna, our marketing coordinator, is going for a relaxed look: “I just love the simple elegance of this garment. The subtle cable stitch detail and open shoulder design give this casual look a feminine feel.  Pair with jeans or chinos for that perfect summer look.”

Angela joined the Stylecraft team in February as yarn and pattern coordinator, so this is her first season with us. “I love the sunrise colours in this design, which I think are great for brightening up those duller Spring/Summer days as they are fun, warm and happy. I like to wear knitwear instead of a little Jacket in spring. The Jacket can be easily stored in your bag ready and waiting for when the sun goes in and you need some help to keep your arms cosy.”

Finally, we asked our designer, Charlotte for her must-knit pattern.  “I love this pattern for an oversized slouchy cardigan. It’s a great versatile piece that’s easy to throw on if you’re a little chilly and looks great with a fresh cotton shirt and jeans! The viscose element in the yarn gives a great effect and catches the light beautifully. I think this cardigan is so effortless to wear with ¾ sleeves in the beautiful blue basalt shade.” We’d love to know which is your favourite, especially if you have already finished one of our new patterns.
