Special DK

You will need: pair of 3.25mm (UK 10 - USA 3) knitting needles, a pair of 4mm (UK 8 - USA 6) knitting needles. For Gloves and Mitts with Flaps: 1 button, 1cm, ½in.

FINGERLESS MITTS (WITH OR WITHOUT FLAPS)
RIGHT MITT
Work as given for Right Glove to ***, working 4cm, 1½in, in k2, p2 rib for cuff (instead of 9cm, 3½in). 34[36:38:40] sts.
*****Starting with a p row, work in st-st
until mitt measures 13[14:15:16]cm,
5¼[5½:6:6¼]in, from cast-on edge,
ending with a p [k:p:k] row.
2nd and 4th size only
Inc row (ws): P-[9:-:10], M1,
p-[18:-:20], M1, twice, p-[9:-:10].
-[38:-:42] sts.
Change to 3.25mm needles.
Starting with row 1, work 3cm, 1¼in,
in k2, p2 rib as given for Right Glove,
ending with a ws row.
Cast off in rib.
