Pattern 9537 - Batik Swirl

Sweater, Cardigan and Hat

Sometimes it's fun to do something a little different. This cardigan and jumper have been knitted from cuff to cuff to get the Stylecraft Batik Swirl yarn to provide vertical stripes. There are twisted stitches and little ridges to keep the knit interesting. Almost forgot to say, there's a beanie hat pattern too to use up left overs if you have any.

Batik Swirl

The colours in Batik Swirl have block tonal transitions to create exciting colour changes and the subtle dappled effect of the yarn gives a lovely sense of texture. Knits up like you are using lots of different coloured yarns, while in fact all you need to do is keep knitting and the yarn will do all the work. Like all the other yarns in the Batik range, it's a wool, and premium acrylic blend, so it is silky soft to the touch too.
