The Farmhouse Patch Blanket was designed for us by Blogstar Cherry Heart. It's an interesting combination of different sized granny squares that show off the colours in Batik DK yarn really well.

Batik
Batik is a wool and acrylic yarn with a lovely round twist to it. The colour effect is a painted semi-solid look that gives beautifully subtle tonal hues when knitted up. The original palette was influenced by the rich and opulent colours of Morocco but the range has expanded to include more subtle shades too.

Life DK is a luxurious yet practical yarn, available in a wide choice of colours. We mix 25% wool with 75% premium acrylic and this makes the yarn is soft and supple, as well as being easy on the hands to work with. Life DK washes and wears extremely well and is perfect for a whole range of projects due to the versatile nature of the yarn.
